We’re going to some tough places – where women are exploited and where conflict destroys communities and lives. We believe that stories of injustice and suffering need to be told and heard. We believe that the stories of individuals matter. But as we consider sharing the stories of the places we go and our experiences there, we are challenged by this reminder of the dangers and shortcomings of a single story.

May we all learn to understand broader narratives and tell bigger stories.
